This is a picture of Lenny Barker(right) with former teamate Rick Manning at the Indians 100 greatest players ceremony at Jacobs Field in 2001. Lenny Barker was born in July 7, 1955 in Fort Knox, KY. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 3th round of the 1973 amateur draft and made his Major League debut in 1976 for the Rangers. Lenny made his first appearance for the Indians in 1979 and remained in a Tribe uniform until the 1983 season. Lenny was also part of the Atlanta Braves, Montreal Expos and Milwaukee Brewers organizations during his playing career.

After returning to Cleveland at the end of his playing career Lenny married a local girl, Eva Ferrante on February 6th 1999 at St Helens' Church in Geauga County.

The Barkers have been blessed with three boys, Jared, Blake and Jacob. The Barker family currently resides in Geauga County.
